The Jubilee Street drawings explore the dialectic between our body's ability to host an imaginary inner space and the need to be surrounded, contained and secured by physical or cosmic presences. The works reflect the material trace of this tension, accentuated by the permeability of the skin, sensitive to the interior as well as the exterior.

In the large-scale drawings made in London, the artist plays with imprints and lines that she draws freely around her body with an oil pastel stick or with her hand full of color.
