overwound — A hose, 8 metres long, is suspended: in Môtiers from the top-storey window of a building; in St. Gallen, from the ceiling
of a skylit gallery. It has been anchored to the street or floor and twisted into a fine line
with a funnel-shaped opening at the top. I am sitting high up in the opening. The light shining through the fabric reveals the contours of
my body. As soon as I let go at the top, the taut fabric begins to unwind and, as it rotates,
I slip down with the weight of my body until I have reached the bottom and can crawl out of the hose.
