l'amie de mon amie
Sculpture, 2012
encounter – While I am holding a plastic bag on my knees, it gets filled with concrete. I sit still until it is dry. The shape of my body shapes the concrete. The negative sculpture is anchored on an iron rod in front of the bench. If passersby sit down, they soon realize that they can hug the object in the same way but that a different body has left its imprint.
The sense of encounter is heightened if the sculpture is mounted on a base.
